Steering Committee

The businesses of the association are taken care by the board of directors (Steering Committee), consisting of the chair (the President) and no less than five and no more than six members from different countries elected by the general annual meeting.


Currently the Steering Committee is composed of the following seven members, as elected at the 2016 annual meeting:

  • Kaj Hedvall (Treasurer, Finland)
  • Vaidotas Aleksius (Lithuania)
  • Robert Erfen (Germany)
  • Peter Höflechner (Austria)
  • Kristian Lyk-Jensen (Denmark)
  • Piia Kallas (Estonia)

 

The network and its activities are supported by a Secretariat elected by the board of directors. The Secretariat is responsible for the regular businesses of the association and general coordination. SC Yvonne

 

Yvonne van der Brugge-Wolring (The Netherlands)

Director of Portfolio Strategy and Portfolio Management and Member of the Board of Directors at the Central Government Real Estate Agency (RVB) in the Netherlands.

In this position, Yvonne is responsible for setting the Agency’s strategic agenda, as well as the management and development of the Agency’s real estate portfolio. The portfolio contains 12,75 mln m2 GFA of buildings and 96,000 hectares grounds and terrains.

Focal points in its strategy are:
* effective collaboration with relevant partners in the market and in government;
* efficient usage of public means with an eye for social return on investment.

Before working at the Central Government Real Estate Agency, Yvonne has worked in senior management positions for more than 8 years at Vidomes, a renowned social housing company, most recently as Managing Director urban development. Before that she worked as a manager at Arcadis Real Estate and as researcher at the University of Queensland, Australia.

Her core values integrity, sustainability and continuous improvement.

 

SC Hedvall

 

Kaj Hedvall (Finland)

Director, Strategy, Business Development and Information Management, Senate Properties (Senaatti-kiinteistöt).

Kaj Hedvall is a member of the executive management team at Senate Properties. He is responsible for strategy, business development and information management.

Kaj Hedvall has previously worked as the Development Manager of the Finnish Association of Real Estate Owners (RAKLI) and at the Swedish School of Economics and Business Administration (HANKEN), Department of Finance as a Professor and a Researcher.

He has a Ph.D. in Finance and a M.Sc. (Eng.) in Civil Engineering.

 

 

 

 SC Aleksius

Vaidotas Aleksius (Lithuania)

Vaidotas Aleksius is CEO at Turto bankas, Lithuania.

He received a master’s degree in Law, in Vilnius University, an MBA in Vytautas Magnus University, he also finished International Business Management program for business executives in Baltic Management Institute.  

Vaidotas Aleksius had been working for 20 years in banking sector – Lithuanian Saving bank, Lithuanian agricultural bank, DNB BANK. He had 19 years executive work experience: while working in banks - head of sections, departments, managing bank’s non-life insurance company, member of the board in life insurance company and member of the supervisory board in leasing daughter company, member of the board and initiator of establishing real estate limited liability company „Intractus“.

 

 

 

SC Erfen

 

Robert Erfen (Germany)

Robert Erfen is Director at the Headquarters of the German Bundesanstalt für Immobilienaufgaben (BImA).

He received the degree in law at the University of Cologne, Germany, and had been for foreign assignment to the United Nations in Geneva, Switzerland.

He had been working for more than 13 years for Germany´s Ministry of Finance. His tasks included in particular the development of the new Parliament and Government Quarter in Berlin.

Since founding of the BImA in 2005, he is responsible for the major buildings projects of ministries and other state agencies in Berlin and for the United Nations in Bonn.

Robert is Germany´s representative for PuRE-net and Steering Committee Member.

 

 

SC Hoeflechner

 

Peter Höflechner (Austria)

Peter Höflechner, FRICS, made his law studies in Graz and completed his development with several Real Estate courses including an Intensive study of international real estate appraisal at EBS/Germany.

After being Head of property management and legal departments of various developer companies, he became Director of the Sales Department of BIG (Bundesimmobiliengesellschaft) and an "authorized officer" of the BIG since 1999. He was head of the departments for official buildings and of special buildings.

He is working as an internal consultant in BIG since 2014 and responsible for PureNet matters.

Furthermore he is acting as a court-certified expert, as head of the Department Real Estate Management at the University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt, and as Chairman of the Austrian chapter of RICS Europe.

SC Kallas

 

Piia Kallas (Estonia)

Piia Kallas has been working at Riigi Kinnisvara AS (State Real Estate Ltd) for the past ten years as Member of the Board and CFO.

Previously she worked in  private sector for a international construction company and a bank.

She has MBA from University of Tartu.
